Tosca Lab cc was established in 1991 and have evolved into Tosca Environmental Lab (Pty) Ltd in 2016. We pride ourselves in our technical expertise and the technical resources/equipment to perform water and soil testing related materials.  Tosca Environmental Lab (Pty) Ltd is proud of an internal Quality Management System, SANAS and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditations. Tosca Environmental Laboratory is a quality-focused environmental analytical laboratory specializing in the analysis of water, wastewater, soil and WWTW sludge.


Our aim is to remain an independent laboratory operating efficiently and without bias. We aim to be the leading service provider in Environmental testing, to generally exceed customer service delivery expectations. Our Services includes Environmental Soil Testing:

  • Environmental Soil Testing designed to assist municipalities, farmers and environmental agencies to develop environmentally sound soil management programs, to include tests for major and trace elements when monitoring soils that have been amended with bio solids or other materials;
  • Agriculture Soil & Growth media analysis. In agriculture, a soil test commonly refers to the analysis of a soil sample to determine nutrient content, composition, and other characteristics such as the acidity or pH level;
  • Environmental Contamination soil analysis. Examples to include Na, K, Ca, P, Mg, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, B, Waterholding capacity, Texture, Titratable acidity, stone fraction, pH, resistance, NO3, NO2, NH4, PO4 and SO4;
